Owner Lloyd Stebbings attended Falmouth technical College (Cornwall) for 2<\/span><\/em> years, he studied Hull design, Fiberglass composites, Boat repairs and maintenance, mould making, Boat building and construction plus other facets, he left with City and Guilds and a diploma in boat building and repair. Soon after finishing at Falmouth he worked for The Yacht Cruising\u00a0 Association, fitting out 29ft Yachts which were then sent to the Greek Islands for holiday hire.\u00a0\u00a0 After a spell in London he moved back to Pevensey Bay\u00a0 and worked for a local boat building company building 17ft fishing boats and small dinghies.<\/span><\/em><\/h6>\n

He also worked for Raider Boats building the 16 and 18 foot fast fisher and other variants. He ran his own Boat repair company for 15 years (Dateline Marine Services) repairing, refitting and even racing with Honda in the Honda formula four stroke series. Other repairs undertaken cover a wide range of marine craft from small dinghies to Pilot boats, off-shore power boats to multi hulled craft, small family size boats and Jet Ski repairs. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Lloyd has taken a break from the marine world for the last few years but now feels the need to return to his roots and what he loves the best (apart from his Wife). Pevensey bay Marine is a new venture for 2012.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Other work has included building and repairing fibre glass car bodies and beach buggy bodies; building fibre glass lift shaft liners and shower trays, designing and producing one of the largest ranges of fibre glass model racing boats in the UK, fibre glass model aircraft and development work on the S.A.S.S. Project, Bodywork for Blubird Electric and Sola Navigator.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
